The Palmerston North Diocese celebrated the Mass of the Oils on Tuesday April 11, at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.
Students from Cullinane College Whanganui proclaimed the readings, brought forward the oils and led the offertory procession. Pa Steve Hancy proclaimed the Gospel in Te Reo.
Before the end of mass Bishop Charles remarked how wonderful it was to have representatives from each corner of the Dicoese (from Wairoa to Foxton) present. Afterwards everyone gathered in the foyer for supper.
