St Carlo Acutis Relic Visit

Published on 22nd May, 2026

From Wednesday 10 June to Saturday 13 June, a relic of Carlo Acutis will be at the Cathedral. Opportunities will include Eucharistic Adoration, veneration of the relic, Holy Mass, and times of prayer. Schools and parishes are encouraged to make pilgrimages during these days.

Relics are honoured as reminders of the saints and signs of the Church’s communion across time and place. This visit is intended to support prayer and devotion and to encourage people — especially young people — to pursue holiness in everyday life.

Everyone is welcome to visit the exhibition when it comes to a parish or school near you, and to consider a pilgrimage to Palmerston North during the Relic Mission. These events offer a practical way to learn more about the Eucharist and to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
