Spiritual direction is the ministry of supporting people in their deepening awareness of the presence and action of God in their lives. It is focused on a person’s prayer – the relationship between themselves and God.

Prayer days and retreats can be offered by request to individual groups or parishes. There is a team of givers who have received formation and training in giving retreats. Individually guided Ignatian retreats are also offered periodically in other centres.

Christian Life Community is inspired by the spirituality of St Ignatius of Loyola. It is made up of groups of people who meet regularly to deepen their faith and express it in their daily lives. Groups meet in the Manawatū, Tararua, Whanganui and Hawke’s Bay areas.
