ACROSS: Te Kotahitanga o te Wairua is offering a free raising self-esteem programme for women and girls.
This programme is a one‑on‑one journey over six sessions. It gives women and girls a safe, private space to grow their confidence, understand themselves better, and build emotional strength at a pace that feels right for you.
Each session includes a guided workbook that helps participants explore their thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. Participants will learn practical tools for:
– building self-worth and confidence
– changing unhelpful thinking patterns
– improving self-talk and emotional wellbeing
– strengthening resilience and coping skills
Because the sessions are one‑on‑one, everything is tailored to individual participants. There’s plenty of space to talk, reflect, and grow in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful.
After finishing the six sessions, there is the option to join monthly workshops. These are creative, empowering group sessions where participants can connect with others who have completed the programme. Activities may include affirmation boards, vision boards, and other hands‑on projects that support confidence and a sense of achievement.
This programme is free – referrals welcome – ages 13+.
The referral form is available here.
