Our work with young people requires us to be professional and accountable.
Two documents are foundational to ministry with young people in Aotearoa New Zealand:
Diocesan Forms and Checklists
Building/Facility Checklist
Computer Safety
Consent Forms

Safeguarding
The safeguarding of children and adults is an integral part of the life and ministry of the Church and flows from the gospel.
The Diocesan Youth Team, along with the entire Diocese of Palmerston North, works with the National Office for Professional Standards (NOPS) to implement the National Safeguarding Guidelines for the prevention of and response to sexual abuse in the Catholic Church in Aotearoa New Zealand.
