Whanganui born and bred Kea Renata has been named the new Youth Worker for the Catholic Parish of Whanganui -Te Parihi Katorika Ki Whanganui.

Picking up his appointment half way through the first academic school term this year this friendly old-boy of Hato Paora in Feilding   has connections to all the marae along the Whanganui River.

With an office-base on Cullinane College Campus he supports the Sacramental courses, religious education programmes and prepares the Friday morning school Masses. He’s involved in the parish Friday evening youth activities as well as forging networks with St Mary’s, St Anne’s and St Marcellin’s Catholic primary schools.
