The Catholic Institute of Aotearoa New Zealand – Te Pūtaho Katorila ki Aotearoa, had their final Archdiocese of Wellington and Diocese of Palmerston North graduation on Tuesday 26 November at St Joseph’s Church Wellington.
Qualifications awarded included the Diploma in Pastoral Leadership. Diploma in Religious Studies (Pastoral Ministry), Diploma of Religious Studies (Religious Education), NZ Diploma in Christian Studies (Christian Leadership), NZ Certificate in Christian Studies (Christian Ministry), and the NZ Certificate in Christian Studies (Religious Education).
The first cohort of students for the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture from the Australia Catholic University was also acknowledged.
The diocese of Palmerston North was strongly represented with 13 students graduating, with many present and some in absentia.
The Catholic Institute and Good Shepherd College (Auckland) will team up in January 2020 as the Catholic Theological College.
