Our small team at WelCom is delighted to share with you the news that WelCom won a top award at the 2023 annual Australasian Catholic Press Association (ACPA) conference and awards, held in Perth last week.

The award was for Best Layout and Design for a Printed Publication – encompassing printed Catholic media across Australasia.

We are delighted with the award and very pleased with the judges’ comments, which encapsulate what we aim to achieve with WelCom each month.

The judges made reference to our advertising as part of the mix and we are delighted that your presence in our Catholic newspaper has been acknowledge.

Very clear contemporary design with a great mix of images, text and advertising. This is how a print publication should be. The designers have done a great job in drawing the reader in and helping them to be at peace with wanting to read more. This what we should be doing – it is evangelising!
