A Celebration of the Diversity of Faiths in our Community: Friday, 30 November, 7pm at Queen Elizabeth College Hall, Rangitikei Street.
In this multi-faith event, faith communities of Palmerston North will share their sacred words and music which express the common core values that sustain life in all communities, values like, compassion, respect, love, hope and peace. It will include contributions from the Sikh, Buddhist, Baha’i, Muslim, Hindu and Christian faith communities. Branches of the Christian tradition include: Catholic, Church of the Latter Day Saints, Methodist, Pacific Island Churches and Presbyterian. The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit is representing the Catholic community and will present a choral offering which includes young people.
The koha will be given to the RED CROSS and the Manawatu Multicultural Centre to support refugees and migrants settling in Palmerston North.
