In December last year, Fr Paul Martin SM was appointed as the next Bishop of the Christchurch Diocese.
He will be ordained by Cardinal John Dew on Saturday March 3 2018.
Bishop-Elect Paul will be the tenth Bishop of Christchurch, succeeding Bishop Barry Jones who died in February 2016.
